home. Oct 3rd – 6th “Maui County
Fair”: The oldest and best fair in Hawaii features rides, games,
exhibits and entertainment; Oct 12th “Maui Triathlon,
IronMaui International Championship”: Official Ironman, Half
Ironman and Olympic Distances and Individual relay team divisions; Oct
20th “15th Annual Lahaina Banyan Tree
Ho’olaulea”: Held under the largest banyan tree in the state,
this ho’olaulea will feature arts & crafts, hula, food booths
and music; Oct 27th “Nissan XTERRA World
Championship”: The 7th annual XTERRA World
Championship is the culmination of a series of global XTERRA
events….to be televised on CBS; and the granddaddy of all Oct 31st
“Halloween in Lahaina” : Mardi Gras of the Pacific is more
than a night on the town in costume….the event includes parade,
haunted house for kids, costume contests, food, crafts, live music and
lots of PEOPLE as Front Street is closed to accommodate the
festivities.
