Dear Readers:
Aloha and Welcome to April 2008 on Maui!
Springtime in paradise,..a spectacular time of year to tantalize all
your senses. If you are on island this month a couple of unique events
you will want to pencil into your agenda April 26th – 27th
“16th Annual East Maui Taro Festival” Event
will be held at Hana Ballpark focusing on taro, the staple of Hawaii,
featuring cultural demonstrations (poi pounding) arts & crafts and
continuous entertainment; April 25th – 27th
“St. Joseph Feast” – One of upcountry Maui’s biggest and
oldest celebrations, featuring food, entertainment, crafts, plants,
valuable goods auction, livestock auction and games for the kids.
With an ever changing real estate market
I thought I would graphically show what the average price for
condominiums, residential and land have done over the past 10 years. As
inventory levels increase and buyers become more price sensitive, the
averages will continue to trend downward.

As always…Thank
you for taking time out of your busy schedules to read our magazine and
or stopping by our web site (www.realestatemauistyle.net
or www.livingmaui.com).
For over 23 years we have tried to distinguish our magazine from other
“catalog publications” in providing you articles on culture, history and
all aspects of what makes Maui a magical and special place...in essence
to be “LivingMaui.” This coupled with current statistical data, a pretty
neat website, great cover photos and the BEST advertisers around I think
accomplishes this. We constantly strive to make your participation a
memorable experience. If you have specific real estate questions on any
of the properties or services mentioned throughout our magazine please
call our advertisers direct. If you contact any of our great
advertisers let them know you saw their ad in “Real Estate Maui
Style”, the only Unique Maui real estate magazine.
See you in May!
