Aloha and welcome to September on
Maui!! Summer has slipped away for 2004 bringing in a new school year.
Hard to fathom that the year is progressing so quickly!! If you are
planning on being in Paradise this month prepare to eat, eat more and
then exercise it all off. Sept 3rd “Maui Chefs
Present…Gala Dinner” The 12th annual elegant dinner
and cocktail party under the stars opening the Taste of Lahaina; Sept
10th – 11th “Taste of Lahaina”
Maui’s largest culinary festival celebrates 13 years of tasting
dishes from the best Maui County restaurants, continuous music,
exhibits and children’s games; Sept 19th “Maui
Marathon” from Kahului to Kaanapali, this 26.2 mile course is
recognized as one of the ten most scenic marathons in North America.
