Aloha and Welcome to
November on Maui!! Just 426 days till January 1, 2001….. had about
enough of the days count down…me too! Winter has arrived in the
islands with temperatures dropping deep into the low
eighties during the day….sorry to all Midwest folks. This is truly a
wonderful time of year - - what with the whales beginning to appear
off our shores, gentle trade winds and higher surf - - Maui is a very
special place.
This month there are a
few activities, which you may want to catch. First, “Welcome Home
the Whales Celebration Cruises” – November 27th join
the Pacific Whale Foundation’s Humpback Whale Research Team in a
fun-filled cruise; second, November 27th & 28th
“Ice Carving Exhibition & Competition” – Hawaii’s top
carvers showcase their talents at the Lahaina Cannery Mall.
This month’s reader
